Testing post fonts

Hi there

I am just writing this post to see if I can format my text. I was actually working away on some book keeping-- so I am ready for a break. This is much more interesting.

Anyway- when I write on my blog- I have the option to choose my fonts right above my text box. There's not a lot of fonts to chose from. The default font is Times. Not my favorite. I just changed it to Georgia.

I will post this now to see what it looks like when it is live.

Have a great evening. I am at my other job, listening to the live music in the next room. Very nice.

Random Posting

I am adding a blog post today because I needed to check how to do that. Since I don't do it as often as I used to, I had to go through the steps to figure it out.

Go to my Blogspot page

See my list of Blogs (I have several)

On the left is a button that say:

New Blog

I don't want to use that. I want to use one of my existing ones.

On the right of each blog I currently have is a pencil in an orange box. When I roll over it, it says:

Create New Post

That is what I want to do so I click and a new page comes up with a square to fill in my post title and a box to fill with my content. Like this.

And so I did.

And now I am going to hit : Publish!

Cheers!

New Blog Post #4

This is me writing another test blog post for the CSIT 155 Class.

Once I am done with this - I can go to the top right side of the page and use one of the buttons

Save - to keep my post that I wrote

Preview - to see what it would look like

or

PUBLISH - which actually publishes the blog post I wrote so everyone can see it.

Once I do that, I go to the top towards the left side and can

View Blog

Then I can see how my new post looks.

Week Two

Just checking out what happens

Week One - Getting Acquainted & starting our Social Media Engines

Wow! Ok let's say that again. Wow - Did your week one fly by fast? Mine sure did. Ok so I have a lot going on outside of class as well. But checking you all in, seeing what you know, what you are looking to learn, and wondering what flow the class will take this time is pretty exciting - and also time consuming.

Just so you know- we realize that there are a few of you that are feeling overwhelmed. There is a lot to do to build your base and it just keeps going. That's ok. We are here to help you AND -- lucky for you, there is a pretty solid group of people who are already knowledgeable at this game. Fellow students. They will help you out. It's part of the "social"in this class. In any online class.

So, take a deep breath, hang in there, share, post, check out what other people are doing. Let's get this party started and build our knowledge base. Social Media here we come.

Cheers!
Claudia
